Little Rain Forest

Thought I could add these pictures to yesterday's entry...couldn't get it to work....but anyway....this is my front garden and not all of it at that.  We have 1/2 acre and it's filled to the brim with greenery of all sorts...from cactus to flowering Lilies....does my hubby have a green thumb or what?

Great pics.  Looks like you have a nice little lush oasis there.  Kudos to your husband's green thumb!

We were in the low eighties last week. Short sleeve shirts and shorts.
So I planted tomatoes last Tues. in the raised beds that I have made. I'm trying something new with plastic mulch if you're interested.
Update to Saturday. Started getting a very light, fine snow late Sat. afternoon. Increasing as the evening progressed. All told, my tomatoes were under fourteen inches of snow come 7A.M. Monday morning. By afternoon we had an extremely bright sunny day with temps in the mid-40's. Tues. morn. the snow is all gone except for some holdout rememants.
The 64 dollar question is; did the tomatoes survive? Dunno yet. Maybe. Snow acts as an insulator so maybe, just maybe the tomatoes didn't freeze.
