Four years have passed. Time does not ease the pain. I'm drawn back to that day like a moth is drawn to a candle flame. It plays over and over across my mind - like a never ending movie show.
I can tell you where I was, the horror and fear that I felt....nothing is faded. Perhaps it is just as well, to have it fade would somehow not be fitting for this particular day of days.
I say a silent prayer for those that are gone, and for those whose lives were ripped apart on that bright oh so bright day in September, 2001.
Lord bless us all.....Sandi

Beautiful Entry, Sandi! Thank you so much for sharing, it was such tragedy, and you're right, we will never forget this, and what we were doing when this happened. -- Hope you have a good week! Again, thank you for everything. BTW- About the "Setup" fee from my Florist, she said it was just to deliver, not to actually pin them on the men! :0)

Lovely entry. I do not think any of us will ever forget what we were doing that day and yes, it was a lovely bright day. It is etched on the heart of the whole world.
I love what you said about it being a never ending movie show. It is like that for me also. I cried so much yesterday...
Be well,
Dawn

Thank you for your lovely comment. I enjoy your journal too. I remember that horrid day in September so veryh well. I am in NY. From my deck we could see the smoke, smell it too. Hearts were broken that day. Life was never to be the same.

I was in Ohio at the time and I had just gotten home from working third shift being a waitress. I was so tired and my feet hurt so bad, but when I turned on the TV and saw what was happening, none of that mattered anymore.

Hi Sandi, I think so many people share your thoughts on this. I will never be able to forget that moment, and as horrible as it is to remember, I don't want to forget it either.
Thanks for sharing.
